  • Clear, professional logo and brand identity visible above the fold
  • Consistent colours, fonts, and visual style across all pages
  • Compelling hero section with a clear value proposition
  • High-quality images (not blurry, stretched, or stock-photo-obvious)
  • Whitespace used effectively β€” pages don't feel cluttered

2. Mobile & Responsive Design

  • Site looks great and functions perfectly on mobile devices
  • Tap targets (buttons, links) are at least 44Γ—44px
  • Text is readable without zooming on small screens
  • Navigation is easy to use on a phone
  • Forms and checkout work correctly on mobile

3. Speed & Performance

  • Page loads in under 3 seconds on a standard connection
  • Google PageSpeed score of 80+ on mobile
  • Images are compressed and served in modern formats (WebP/AVIF)
  • No render-blocking scripts delaying page load
  • Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID/INP, CLS) are in the "Good" range

4. SEO Fundamentals

  • Each page has a unique, keyword-rich title tag (under 60 characters)
  • Meta descriptions are written and compelling (under 160 characters)
  • Heading hierarchy is logical (one H1 per page, H2/H3 for structure)
  • Google Search Console is set up and verified
  • XML sitemap exists and is submitted to Google
  • Site is indexed β€” key pages appear in Google search results

5. Trust & Credibility

  • Google reviews or testimonials are visible
  • ABN / business address is listed (builds trust and SEO)
  • Privacy Policy and Terms pages are present and linked
  • SSL certificate is active (padlock in browser address bar)
  • Professional email address used (not @gmail.com)

6. Conversions & Calls to Action

  • A clear, prominent call to action on every page
  • Contact details (phone and/or email) visible without scrolling
  • Contact form works and sends notifications
  • Google Business Profile is set up and linked
  • Analytics installed to track visitors and conversions
